Volition puts you into the role of a researcher dispatched to a distant planet to uncover the fate of a vanished crew. Upon crash-landing, you find yourself in a bizarre world of towering rock pillars and unsettling organic matter, where survival, unraveling the crew's mysterious disappearance, and escaping this nightmarish realm become your ultimate objectives.
For this project I worked together with two sound designers to create and shape the audio experience. I mainly worked on the technical implementation of audio in the game, making sure that the artistic vision of me and my team were realized. I also developed a couple of in-editor utility tools to deliver a better front-end experience for working with the native audio engine of Unreal Engine.
